Nigerian superstar female singer, Tiwa Savage has been called out by Tanzanians for allegedly rigging an award show in order to emerge winner. Tiwa Savage was declared the most stylish celebrity at an award organized by the organizers of the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards. Tiwa Savage  had less votes and according to Vanessamdeedaily, their artiste Vanessa Mdee, had more votes during the voting stage of the award yet did not win. A Pentecostal church member identified as Ese Kalu, reportedly collapsed and died while leading praise and worship during church service.

According to Vanguard, the incident reportedly happened during a mid-week service at the Church premises along Cemetery Road in Sapele, Delta State, on Tuesday night.

It was gathered that the deceased, a female petty trader, was said to have attended church services that evening, full of life but suddenly fell down, clutching her chest.
A lady who claimed to be the late woman’s relative told the newspaper that she had no medical history. She said;

“Ese went to church around 7pm. she was singing when she suddenly stopped and clutched her chest, before going down. “Church members who took her to the hospital came back crying, they said she died before they could get to the clinic.”

  She took to her Snapchat to seek advice from older parents on what seems to be, how to react after they spank their kids.

A young man has expressed that he would not date Nigerian ladies because they believe that only a man should provide financial assistance in a relationship. 

According to him, many Nigerian girls have been taught that it is okay for them not to support their partners financially. He noted that many Nigerians ladies believe that all they need to do is cook for their man and take care of other things. The young man advised ladies that a relationship is a partnership. He added that they are supposed to support each other financially, emotionally and psychologically.

Over the weekend two teenagers became internet sensation, after they had their church wedding and traditional marriage.

Lots of criticism followed the posts on Facebook and the sister of the teenage groom shared more of the couple’s photo and tried to clear the air:

                
“Its really a surprise that some people can’t appreciate good things. It’s never a a crime or an abomination to marry young.

For my brother and the lady I call my sister, because she’s like one to me, their love story was never based on any financial arrangement, pregnancy or even the only son story people imagined. Their marriage took place with the consent of both sets of parents.

So, I thank Lord for their story because God has ordained it. If not they would not come together.

I couldn’t make it to their wedding due to personal reasons but I was with them via other means. So, I will thank Lord of little beginnings, it would yield great result. I wish them so much joy, happiness and God blessings upon them. Amen”, she wrote.
