World Cup draw: The wait is over, qualification is complete and the 32 finalists now know their fate in the 2018 World Cup. Moscow’s impressive State Kremlin Palace was the venue for the World Cup draw, which served up plenty of interesting match-ups. The 2018 World Cup will have some seriously interesting group stage matches, with Portugal versus Spain in Group B and Belgium versus England in Group G particular stand-outs.  There are also other intriguing games to come in Group D as Argentina take on Nigeria, while champions Germany must face Mexico. Robinho has been sentenced to nine years in prison after being found guilty of sexual assault.
Gazzetta dello Sport reveal the former Manchester City man is one of a group of five which were found guilty of sexually assaulting an Albanian girl in a Milan night club on January 22, 2013. .
Robinho was playing for the Rossoneri at the time. The Brazilian, now 33, is currently playing in his homeland with Atletico Mineiro.
Though he has been found guilty, the Italian justice system allows for several levels of appeal, which means the verdict is essentially put on hold.

 Nigeria's Super Eagles on Tuesday 14th November 2017, thrashed Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly match played in Russia, host of the world cup.

A brace from Arsenal sensation, Alex Iwobi and a goal apiece from Kelechi Iheanacho and Balogun gave Nigeria the needed victory.

Argentina opened scoring in the 27th minute of the game through Banega and doubles it in the 36th minute through Sergio Aguero.

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a wonderful free-kick on 44th minute of the fist half to reduce the tally to 2-1.

The Eagles raised back to life in the second half when Iwobi aqualised in the 52nd minute to make it 2-2.

Leon Balogun made it 3-2 for Nigeria in the 54th minute of the game while Iwobi scored his second goal of the game to make it 4-2 and sealed the victory for Nigeria.

Former Manchester United left back Patrice Evra have been sacked my his club Marseille after his karate kick on a fan.
Evra came under critics after his action on a fan few minutes before their match against Vitoria on November 2 which saw him miss out on the game and his side defeated, Evra since then was put under suspension but the Olympique side have decided to terminate his contract after UEFA sanctioned him with a long season ban.

Former Manchester united winger, Ryan Giggs has shown his interest in the vacant Everton job following Rinaldo Norman's sack yesterday, Monday 23,2017.

The 43-years old has also indicated an interest in the vacant Leicester role as he desperately tries to get back into management.

He said: " You look at those two teams, Leicester being champions two seasons ago, Everton being a fantastic club with a fabulous history, for me those are clubs, I would be interested in.

"However, there are a lot of coaches out there who would be interested in those position."

Paris Saint- German manager Unai Emery has reportedly been involved in a training ground bust-up with Neymar.
Neymar joined the ligue 1 giants during the summer transfer window, and he has hit the ground running at the parc des princes with nine goals and seven assists from 10 matches across all competition so far.
The row is understood to have stommed from Neymar's desire to train for longer after Emery had ordered half of his players to end training.
Following Wednesday's champions league clash with Anderlecht.

A sports lawyer working for the player, Juan de Dio Crespo, deposited the money with the Spanish League on Thursday morning but reports say the payment has not been accepted after Wednesday’s threats from League president Javier Tebas that they would reject the money.

A quirk of the Spanish transfer system means that the fee had to be deposited by the player to release from his contract. In Spain, every player has a buyout clause written into their contracts, with a purchasing club paying the fee to the player and the player then transferring it to La Liga.
PSG had fought against paying the money as a buy-out clause to the league because it means releasing all the funds immediately and incurring additional tax.
But Barcelona were not prepared to allow the French club to treat the transfer as an orthodox deal.

They are also likely to put pressure on UEFA to fully investigate how PSG have funded the payment of the clause — which they once thought beyond the reach of every club in the world.
